Cloud computing is internet based computing that, on a demand basis, facilitates shared processing resources and data to computers and other devices. Initially small, with time and enhanced requirements, large-scale computing power was worked upon. It is now used by big organizations worldwide. It came into existence in the 2000s. It aims to cut costs and allow users to benefit from the merging newer technologies. The models currently in use for offering these solutions are SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). Many leading organizations like Google, IBM, and some universities have embarked on large scale cloud computing research projects.

Companies like CloudOYE and ComputeHost facilitate large scale cloud computing hosting.

CloudOYE has partnered with OnApp, which is a reputed provider of CDNs (Cloud Delivery Networks) to ensure accelerated website performance, application, and video delivery. Along with Cloud CDN, they also offer Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud services.

ComputeHost is another hosting solutions company that offers large scale computing hosting services. They have an excellent support team available 24/7 to help their clients out. With many different, customizable packages, they can easily tackle all large-scale computing hosting issues. Services include no-cost updates, robust security, streamlined processes, scalability, pay-as-you-use facilities, and many others.

I have never used CloudOYE for cloud deployment, however, my friend has. I am on a lesser-known host called Compute Host. I am not sure how CloudOYE functions, but I can tell you about other hosts. I have tried all. Personally, I believe Compute Host is okay, though not so popular. Before this I had tried a brand called Go4hosting, which I liked, but I needed more flexibility with my cloud server.

I think they all have the same parent company and are only run with different names, though I am not completely sure about it.

CloudOYE is fine. Their deployment is expeditious. I have tried Godaddy and HostGator as well. Their service is unmatched but I believe they overcharge. Again, since I was on a low-budget and did not care much about customer support, I switched from HostGator.

I reckon you want to know whether you can use CloudOYE for big cloud deployments or not. You can. For several years I was hosted with CloudOYE. They have a data center in the US and more than a couple in India.

The advantage of hosting with an international host is the reduced cost. Uptime is also fine – 99.5+ mostly. I think they can do better in customer service, though. Some of my complaints were never reverted to.

I have tried almost all hosts, big or small. Ping me if you need review and/or advice on which one you should choose.

I think the following hosts would be good enough for big deployments –
• Microsoft
• Google Cloud
Azure
• IBM
• SAP

There are a lot more but these are the providers that won’t let you down.

I have also used CloudOYE and I am of the opinion that these guys are highly underrated. I have been using the services for almost a years now, I must say they could do better if they market rigorously.

I have many VPS for my clients using openvz node of mine. But many ask me the question whether we are planning to start Cloud VPS soon or not.

I am still not clear the very benefit of cloud hosting than my current OpenVZ node.. Can some one shed some light on this

If you are looking for a service that provides large scale computing, then CloudOye is the optimal and the most yielding option for you. You would find a good cloud hosting service but at the price of CloudOYE is near to impossible. They do not charge any extra costs for carrying out frequent updates, streamlining your processes, or even scaling up and down the resources.

With CloudOye you need not to worry about big cloud deployments. There will be no instance of storage or bandwidth shortage as they have so many multiple data center locations at remote and non-remote places. When it comes to customer service then also there is no doubt they are one of the best.
