It is easy to get cloud storage these days. There are scores of companies offering free and paid cloud storage. It is quite easy to sign up with one and store your personal data with them. It is quite easy and convenient to store information with them, but when it comes to the safety or security of this data, all of these are insecure.

• The files can be accessed by the storage company anytime
• The stored files are rarely encrypted
• Data transfer is not protected

Another thing to worry about is what if these cloud servers are hacked? If the data files have been encrypted, it would help keep them safe from being compromised.

There are several companies that offer encryption services and other security devices to their clients so that their confidential data remains safe and secure. Some of these offer extremely safe, ultra-secure providers.
