The Content Delivery Network with Amazon Web Services is known as Amazon CloudFront. Amazon CloudFront is a fast and secure Content Delivery Network service, from Amazon Web Services.

Amazon CloudFront is a Content Delivery Network service from Amazon, that delivers data, videos, Application Programming Interfaces, and applications to the users, who make a demand for them. This delivery of contents is made by Amazon CloudFront at a global level, with low latency and high-speed content transfer. This is done with in an environment that is friendly to web developers.

Amazon CloudFront is the Content Delivery Network service that provides speedy delivery of both the static and dynamic web page contents, to its customers. It delivers web contents such as, .html,.css, .js and image files, to its users.

Amazon CloudFront delivers the web page contents globally, through a net work of data centers, that is located world wide. These locations are called edge locations.

The moment a user, who is with Amazon CloudFront, sends a request for a web page content, that request is routed to the edge location that is with the lowest possible latency. It helps the content to be delivered to the user, at the fastest possible time and with best possible performance.

Amazon CloudFront arranges immediate delivery of the content, if the content is already available with the edge location, with the lowest latency.

If the requested content is not available with an edge location, Amazon CloudFront retrieves the contents from a defined origin. This origin may be identified as a source of definitive version of the desired web page content, such as, Amazon S3 bucket, a channel of Media Package, or from an HTTP server, which may also be a web server.

Amazon CloudFront provides speedy distribution of the requested contents, by routing every request made by a user, through the AWS backbone network, to the edge location, that is best suited for serving the requested content.
