How Will I Connect To My VPS?

To connect to your Linux VPS, you need the SSH network protocol which gives you a secured communication with the server over a network. You will need a SSH client (a software program that uses the secure shell protocol to connect with remote computers). There are several SSH client’s programs that are available free. Download and install a suitable SSH client to connect to the VPS server. Fill up the details like Host name (or IP address). You will find your VPS IP address on your dashboard set the “connection type”. Next enter your username and password and get connected to your Linux VPS.

You can connect to your Windows server with the RDS (remote desktop services) through which you can get complete control over your server. With the RDS or remote desktop protocol(RDP) you can access your Windows server. Enter your IP address and your administrative user ID and password. You will find your IP number in your account dashboard. Once you are logged click on Manage with your hostname and successfully connect to your Windows VPS server.
