How Can Configuration Of VPS Be Done?

You need to understand different level of accounts before setting up your VPS. These levels are WHM account and cPanel accounts as primary and secondary levels. Hosting provider also provides you with your own account. For configuring VPS, you need host name and it can be selected as yourvps.setupmyvps.com.

After selection of hostname, password and username you will need to login from the topmost level. Hence after entering the IP address of your server into the address of your browser.

In the WHM login screen, type the username ‘root’ and the password that was selected by you during selection of hostname. You will see the WHM running a wizard, and then you will have to choose email address and contact details.

Nameservers should be registered and then you should setup relevant DNS settings.

While setting up nameservers you should set two nameservers as ns1 and ns2. After this you will have to enter ‘Save’ and enable nameserver in ensuing page. It is recommended to note all passwords, usernames and hostnames.
