In order to connect to your VPS you can explore some of the available options such as Parallels Plesk panel and SSH. You can get full admin access via SSH. Secure Shell or SSH is a network protocol that is designed for secure access. The two important programs are PuTTY and SSH. PuTTY can be installed just like any other program by downloading. PuTTY is used to connect to OpenSSH and a host key is sent by Open SSH to PuTTY for confirming its identity. After searching from the available database of known hosts, it will finish the process of Server Authentication.

The next step is of client authentication. With an established connection to server, user is able to send login information from the authorized email. Once you are able to see the command line, you are sure that you are connected to the VPS sever by using OpenSSH and PuTTY.

The intricate process of two way authentication is designed to ensure protection by intruders. SSH is the most useful tool to maintain security of connection. Open SSH is commonly available with Debian, while a user would be required to download and install PuTTY.
