You can certainly upgrade your VPS after signing up. The process of upgrade is extremely simple and hassle free. In order to upgrade your VPS you need to first log in to your account and proceed to the billing page. In ‘Products and Services’, select ‘details’ tab next to your existing VPS plan.

You will see the option of ‘Upgrade/ Downgrade package’. Here you have to select the specific plan you need to upgrade to. The page will also inform you the amount that is needed to be paid. Once the payment you made is approved, the VPS account would be upgraded. In order to activate the resources you will have to only reboot the server since reloading the operating system is not required.
