Can I Stop and Start the VPS?

VPS servers give you root access to the server. You have the liberty to stop and start the server at any time without having to wait for your host. On the top right of your screen you can view that the VPS is running now. Navigate to the top horizontal menu and click on the option Start/Stop VPS. It is here that you can start, stop or reboot your VPS. There are several possible actions that you can know by checking the Details link. If the status shows.

Running- then you can only stop and restart.

Down- then you can only start the VPS

Repair- then you can take no action till repair is completed

Mounting / starting or stopping - no action can be taken till it is completed

There is a two-minute timeout for the stop and start scripts to be executed. There is also the Fast Stop option in case you do not want the 2-minute waiting when the VPS is corrupt.
