Amazon Web services is a subsidiary company of Amazon.com. Amazon Web Services provides platforms for Cloud computing to Governments, Companies and Individuals. These Cloud computing platforms are provided by AWS to the users, on their demands for the Cloud computing platforms.

These Platforms for Cloud Computing is provided to the users by Amazon Web Services on the basis of paid subscriptions. The technology provided by Amazon Web Services to its users, allow the users to have a virtual cluster of computers at their levels. This virtual cluster of computers is available through the internet service, to its users for round the clock, 365 days a year.

These Virtual Computers provided to the users by Amazon Web Services, can emulate the majority of attributes of a real computer. These attributes include the hardware, that has both the Central Processing Units and the Graphics Processing Units.

These attributes of hardware are for processing the local or RAM based memory, for storage at hard disks or Solid State Drives. It also offers the processing of a choice of operating systems, does the networking and processes pre-loaded applications software, such as Web Servers, CRMs and data bases etc.

Amazon Web Services is a Cloud service platform, that is absolutely secured in nature. AWS offers compute power to its users. It also offers content delivery, data base storage and a set of other functionalities to its users. The functions of Amazon Web Services to its users are to make their businesses scale high and grow.

The Amazon Web Services Cloud offers a wide range of infrastructure services. These services include power for computing, options for data storage, networking and data bases. These services are delivered to its users by Amazon Web Services as utility services, on demand. AWS makes these services available to its users in matter of seconds. The users have to make the payments to AWS, on “Pay per Use” basis.
