MS Windows

MS Windows is an operating system predominantly used for personal computers taking away about 90% of the PC market. It is created by Microsoft and comes with a graphic user interface (GUI), multitasking abilities, virtual memory management and many peripheral devices.

Some of the well-known versions of MS Windows include Windows 98, Windows 7 and recently has added the Windows 10 version for all its devices like personal computers, tablets, smartphones and has a special version of MS Windows for its Xbox One gaming console.

Windows 1.0 was the first version introduced way back in November 1985 and users got a better experience of scroll bars, drop-down menus, dialog boxes and icons than what were available with MS-DOS. Users got modified and upgraded variants and the latest version of Windows 10 released in July 2015. It has carried many features of the Windows 8 and has brought back the start menu and came up with a new Microsoft Edge browser. It is likely to be the last version of Windows
