Sharelock

When you want to shared any information secretly, you can make use of Sharelock. This application lets you share the data securely. You have to only type the data or secret information and the Twitter handle or email of the recipient who you wish to share this information with. An encrypted link or an encrypted URL is thus generated. It is an OSS project which offers users a convenient way to share data.

How does Sharelock Work?

When you want to share a secret you need to mention Twitter handles and list of emails for users who can share the secret. This app will encrypt this data and offer you the URL that is referred to as a Sharelock. The URL will then include the encrypted data and this is the only place where it will stay. Following this, you can send this Sharelock through any private or public channel according to your preference, such as, Twitter, emails, IRC, Slack etc. Since the Sharelock has already been encrypted, the channel through which you send it may or may not be secure.

The person who you share this data with can go to the Sharelock URL. When they authenticate themselves to either the email address or Twitter handle you have mentioned, they can view this information.
