My VPS server hangs and I can not access it. What can I do?
When your VPS hangs and you are unable to access it you may try to restart through your control panel. To restart your VPS server, login to your CloudOYE account and go to "Services".Then click on My Services and then Manage then click on Shutdown.Wait for a few seconds and click on boot.Your virtual server will be back into operation within a few minutes.
One of the main reasons for a customer not being able to access their VPS server hosting is the exhaustion of resources. You may have to check the server log files to see if there is any OOM (out of memory) error. As said earlier the main reason for multiple services to go unresponsive is due to kernel alarms or the memory getting completely exhausted.
Once it is restarted you can open a ticket to check why and how your resources got exhausted. In case you are unable to locate the cause on your own call CloudOYE customer support team for them to investigate on the issue.
